Dorset Youth Association is Seeking a Champion Representative for the 0-25 Voluntary and Community Sector in East Dorset

We currently have a vacancy for a Champion Representative in the East Dorset area and seek nominations please.

With the new Dorset Council structure in place and completion of the Children and Young People’s Plan, we are seeking a representative from our members to champion the VCS sector by attending the East Dorset Local Area Group (LAG) meetings on behalf of the 0-25 VCS Forum.  This opportunity is open to VCS colleagues only.

In order to maintain good involvement and participation with statutory and other colleagues across Dorset, the successful person will be expected to feed back to the Forum on the meetings attended as appropriate, and also to feed into the LAG meetings news and information from the 0-25 VCS Forum and its members.  These are key roles for the 0-25 VCS Forum to ensure good communication between the VCS in Dorset and our partners, and will allow understanding, involvement and participation that I know colleagues are keen to have.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday 23^rd June 2021 .  I hope you will give consideration to putting yourself forward.

In line with our Terms of Reference, once nominations have been collated, voting will take place via Survey Monkey – full details will follow once nominations have closed.
