Did you know that 11% of residents in the Dorset Council area are offline completely? And that a further 20% have some essential digital skills, but they don’t have all of them?
This means that almost a third of our residents struggle to access digital services. We need the help of your teams to change this by becoming Embedded Digital Champions.
We are training people who work in frontline roles in many Dorset organisations to become Embedded Digital Champions so they can help people access services online at the time when they need help. This training is fully funded and we expect it will reduce workloads as more members of the public will be able to access services online and self-serve independently.
We are running workshops for managers to introduce you to our style of training.
We can tailor the training for your team’s specific needs so that we address issues your customers may come across.
Join us on either Thursday 16 or Thursday 23 September from 10am to 12pm.
The programme has support at the highest level and at the workshop you will also hear from Matt Prosser, Dorset Council’s Chief Executive, on why this training opportunity will help our residents.
We highly recommend this one-off workshop to learn more about how your team will benefit from this training to develop not only their own digital and soft skills but also those of your customers and clients.
