Care support worker Poole/Wallisdown £10ph Direct Payment Employer LD/CN/04
Hours of work: Fridays 9.00am to 4.00pm
Rate of pay: £10ph
I am looking for someone to support my 19 year old daughter to attend a day centre every Friday. She has Global Developmental Delay and sensory processing difficulties.
You will need to be:
· A driver with access to your own car
· Able to think on your feet and react quickly to situations
· Reliable and trustworthy
The successful candidate will pick her up from her home and spend the day with her at the day centre supporting her with activities.
Tasks include:
- Supervision when eating
- Personal care
- Support with mobility
- Support with communication (PECS and IPad)
- Support to self regulate in terms of sensory needs
- Support with behavioural strategies
- Driving
