Wild Camping

We are thrilled to be given sole access to a large ancient woodland for our 2022 camps - we'll be taking learners through their own personal journey, developing non ridden equine skills, connecting with nature and building confidence in our paddocks over a number of weeks, cumilating with the experience of packing camping kit onto the ponies, walking them to this forest retreat, cooking on the campfire and sleeping in a tent. The following morning, we'll re-pack the kit, ensure we 'leave no trace' and walk back out. This is not only an amazing camp but a beautiful walk as well - through heathland, plantation and even a ford crossing, although there is a bridge for those who prefer dry feet! A fantastic journey, not only the trip itself but the personal journey about growing confidence, building connections and developing skills.
