Our patron Kevin Sinfield OBE has hit his £777,777 fundraising target after completing the final leg of his 7 in 7 in 7 challenge in London yesterday.
Kev and the team took on seven ultra marathons in seven days in seven cities, visiting Leeds, Cardiff, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Dublin, Brighton and London. They battled with blisters, bad weather and limited sleep to raise funds and awareness for the 5000 people living with MND in the UK at any one time.
BBC Breakfast covered the challenge extensively and other national and local outlets have helped to spread awareness and boost fundraising.
The challenge was a huge cross-directorate effort so a big thank you to everyone involved.
