Get Dorset Cooking is our county-wide campaign to literally do just that - getting more people cooking. We will be working with the media, chefs, community organisations, schools and other groups to encourage more people to cook more - why? Because we know that its good for our physical health and wellbeing, our pocket and our connection to others.
The campaign supports and addresses the availability of local cooking sessions, equipment for local groups to offer cooking sessions, training and support to encourage volunteers to run more cooking sessions and more.
The Friendly Food Club will be offering FREE training courses to help you run safe, fun and effective cooking sessions for your group.
There will be courses running in Blandford and Wimborne, see below for dates.
